Colors in gay flag

Intersex Flag With a palette of yellow and purple, which are colors historically associated with intersex people, this flag was created in July by Morgan Carpenter. Bisexual Flag Created in by Michael Page, the bisexual flag features pink and royal blue with an overlapping purple stripe in the center.

Flags of the LGBTIQ Community

The black chevron represents asexuality, gray represents gray asexuality, white represents sexuality, and purple represents the community. Created in by Kye Rowan, the nonbinary flag represents those who are nonbinary and identify as neither male nor female. Yellow: represents genders outside of the gender binary; White: represents people who identify with many or all genders; Purple: represents genders that are a combination of male and female; Black: represents people who are agender.

From one flag reboot to another, the coloured stripes are imbued with different meanings. For Quasar, the light blue, pink and white stripes represent trans and non-binary individuals and the brown and black ones represent marginalised People of Colour POC communities.
